I write words that resonate like a well-timed text, crafted for brands that want to feel more human.

    Dear Reader,

It is currently 1:16 a.m. on a Tuesday, as I write to you bundled up underneath my favorite monogrammed blanket in my parent´s bonus room.

They say to write your bio how you speak, but I will be spicing it up with some literate lingo:

My love for words began with books. Magic Tree House in specific. Then came the Hunger Games and Twilight Saga (queue slobber on my copy of Breaking Dawn as I clung to it in my sleep). Soon after, Colleen Hoover took the world by storm. Then I rediscovered fantasy in the form of dragon riders and venin (spoiler, they WILL find a cure for Xaden). The list goes on.

*Taking a pause for a fun fact - When the cool kids prayed to be astronauts when they were older, I dreamed of being a librarian!

But at a young age, I caught myself frequently googling unfamiliar words recycled from author to author, inventing my own literary universes and purchasing a fluffy pink journal from Justice to record all of my ¨brilliant¨ creative leads.

And guess what? I never stopped.

Public speaking feels unnatural. I trip over words in every interaction and the majority of the time do not have the nerve to open up confrontation, good or bad.

    So what do I do?

I wrote a card to my boyfriend when I realized that I loved him. My notes app is a written expansion of my inner thoughts, truths (and grocery lists) that are rarely shared. I type in depth reviews of novels I complete on Goodreads. And I emailed my ex marketing manager a farewell message after being laid off this past week.

Cheesy or not, writing was and will continue to be my godly gift. And what better way to leverage this gift than curating Instagram captions for local brow waxing salons and making case studies on retail displays!

All jokes aside, my preferred method of communicating, impacting, thought-wielding, you name it will always be pen to paper (or keyboard to digital platform).

If you´ve read this far, you must be affected by the power of words as well! Welcome to my tiny corner of the internet.
